Cora: Day Gown

Cora lives in a manor-house nestled in a small valley. During her mornings she enjoys taking walks or horseback riding if the weather is good. Living on the outskirts of the city, she can ride for many miles in un-developed land. This gown is perfect for her springtime walks through the fields and woods.

Ballgown with Stripes and Dots

This regal gown is worn by Cora to her first ball.

Fourth Wednesday: Cora Ghelter

Fourth Wednesday Doll: Cora

Cora Ghelter is a lovely young woman who is spending a season in court as a special guest of Prince Dracone and Lord Valdon Viharet. She is a key part of their plan to keep Prince Dracone from being required to marry by his twenty-fifth birthday.

Stay tuned for her wardrobe which will include many ballgowns, dining gowns, and more!

Tamarita

This is a paper doll named Tamarita. She is a young woman who lives on a holding of the Lord Karel. Her mother is steward of the land, and Tamarita and her brother Tagel have a good upbringing. Brother and sister enjoy being mischieveous, much to their mother’s chagrin. Even as a young lady, Tamarita still rides horseback, goes hunting, and will shirk duties just to be outside.

Her wardrobe will follow soon. It’s a collection of formal and dinner gowns (which she hates), everyday dresses, and outfits she’s created to allow her to hunt and ride horseback more easily.

Keep watch for a new scan of Tamarita once I get a scanner. This was taked with a digital camera, and as such has uneven lighting, and will not fit the gowns right if they are printed out.

A sample of what's to come...

Welcome to A Paper Closet, a blog created specifically to share many paper dolls and their fashions. Featured dolls will range from modern era, historical, fantasy, and from literature.

The outfit shown here is a rough sketch of a Bayan renegade's outfit. This is a fantasy outfit (as you could probably tell).

The same outfit after it has been scanned and computer colored. I don't do this often, and this was one of my very first attempts (which accounts for many mistakes). Hopefully some day I will get better with the coloring side of paper dolls, but for now I stick to black ink on white paper.
